Walk Away, Come What May.

Michel Barnier self-isolating.

Although able to make Youtube videos, Michel Barnier is asking for more time to negotiate Brexit because of the Coronavirus. Yet just as Nebuchadnezzar’s magicians he is simply hoping to drag it out till the times are changed in the hope that Trump will lose the election, there might be a financial crises or some other contrived or unexpected event to insist that Brexit is simply impossible.

Daniel 2:8-9
8 - The king [Nebuchadnezzar] answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing [Dream] is gone from me.
9 - But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.

The Coronavirus should teach us that we can not trust in man. I recall being mocked years ago by a bank manager when telling him that the banks would fail, and they did though he trusted in them. Times like this don’t only open our eyes to the vanities of beauty, strength and hard cash but force even the most stubborn hearted to consider the pillars upon which their lives rest.

Jeremiah 17:5
Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

Jezebel’s beauty accounted for nothing in the day of wrath...

2 Kings 9:30-33
30 - And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.
31 - And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?
32 - And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.
33 - And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

Nor Israel’s wealth once the enemy had entered the Temple in which they trusted…

1 Kings 14:22-26
22 - And Judah did evil in the sight of the Lord, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.
23 - For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.
24 - And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.
25 - And it came to pass in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem:
26 - And he took away the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.

Indeed, cursed are those who trust in other gods, be they gold, silver, looks, wealth or position... for in the time of trouble they will fail you just as they failed them. But God’s Word that shall stand, to which Pharaoh listen to the saving of a nation once God sent seven years of famine following seven years of plenty.

Genesis 41:29-30
29 - Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:
30 - And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

Personally, I am confident that if done in the open or behind closed doors, that the spirit of antichrist will use current events to move the globalists to press-on with their agenda of creating a ten region world order The Antichrist shall require up and running before, and not after he has been revealed. In those days, only the wise who have laboured to fill their vessels with oil [The Holy Ghost] shall endure, the rest will fall away and be cast into Great Tribulation having trusted in man rather than God.

Jesus said...

John 9:4
Work while it is day for the night comes when no man can work.

Meaning, that if you don’t start filling your vessel today, while it is light then night will come upon you suddenly, and you’ll have no time to fill your lamps that you might see in that darkness, even a darkness that can be felt. You think the Coronavirus is bad? Then you don’t want to know what’s coming.

Matthew 25:6-10
6 - And at midnight [deep darkness] there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 - Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 - And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 - But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 - And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Let the Coronavirus be a wake-up call, for what is going to follow a time of great abundance can not be compared to the seven years of famine that followed in Egypt. Pharaoh heeded God’s Word and was rewarded, while the people were spoiled having squandered the time. Will you heed God’s warning today... only to forget it as soon as prosperity comes?

Isaiah 55:6-9
6 - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 - Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 - For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
