Is the God of the Bible Racist?

I just replied to a comment posted on Gab.com where a racist thought to use extra-biblical text to justify his own racism.

The ‘anti-racists’ in this group will love this passage. Let’s watch them deny the Old Testament.

Beware of all whoredom, my son, and chiefly take a wife of the seed of thy fathers, and take not a strange woman to wife, which is not of thy father’s tribe: for we are the children of the prophets, Noe [Noah], Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: remember, my son, that our fathers from the beginning, even that they all married wives of their own kindred, and were blessed in their children, and their seed shall inherit the land. Now therefore, my son, love thy brethren, and despise not in thy heart thy brethren, the sons and daughters of thy people, in not taking a wife of them... (Tobit 4:12-13).

Be careful how you use the scriptures...

2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

For God keeps His Word to perform it

Malachi 3:6
For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. [ie... you can depend upon it for the salvation of your soul]

Who promised Abram that he would have descendants though he was old, and more, that through his seed would come ‘The Seed’ who is Christ, through whom many would receive salvation....

Genesis 22:17-18
17 - That in blessing I will bless thee [Abram], and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 - And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

But before Abram had been born, Noah, the father of all nations had ‘Cursed Canaan’ and blessed Shem of whom Abram was a descendant...

Genesis 9:25-27
25 - And he [Noah] said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26 - And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
27 - God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

But when God called ‘blessed Abram of Shem’ to the land of Canaan... the cursed Canaanites were already in there!

Genesis 12:6
And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

Therefore God would not allow either Isaac or Jacob to share in the curse by marrying them, though Ishmael and Jacob’s brother Esau would to their hurt.

Genesis 24:1-3
1 - And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.
2 - And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:
3 - And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the [cursed] Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

Likewise, they were not to marry the Canaanites once they had come out of Egypt but rather drive them out of Canaan to where they were to return, because the Canaanites were cursed and had done perversely so God would cast them out. [Lev 18:27-28]

Deuteronomy 7:1-3 - [All these seven nations were the descendants of cursed Canaan]
1 - When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
2 - And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
3 - Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

For if the seed of Shem had been spoiled by joining with cursed Canaan [1 Cor 6:16], then THE SEED, even Christ would have been cursed before He could have become a curse for us that believe, that we might receive the blessing of Abraham through faith.

Galatians 3:13-14
13 - Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [or Cross]
14 - That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

But as for your racist slur against the God who had made of one blood all people [Acts 17:26] it shall not stand. Because contrary to your accusation God was keeping the seed from the curse that the Gentiles might be blessed with faithful Abraham which is not a racist as you might have wished, for the Israelites could marry from the tribes that were far off... even from those outside of the regions occupied by cursed Canaan, Moses being but one example when taking a Midianite to wife by whom he received children, and then a black Ethiopian women after her death [Ex 2] who Mariam and Aaron despised, ‘I assume’ because as yourself they ‘may’ have been racist.

Numbers 12:1
And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

God rebuking Mariam though He healed her after she had borne her disgrace seven days. Therefore God wasn’t racist as you had hope, that you might justify your own racism but was protecting His seed from the curse until ‘THE SEED’ who is Christ came.

Ezra 9:1-2
1 - Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
2 - For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: [The Canaanites] yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.
