IQ vs The Foolishness of the Cross.

The Wisdom of the World is offended by the Wisdom of God.

If IQ was the standard by which we should measure a person’s worth, then the Jews who are generally at the top of the list wouldn’t have crucified Jesus, the Lord of Glory...

1 Corinthians 2:4-8
4 - And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 - That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 - Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 - But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 - Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

...and that on the very day of which the Jewish leader knew, foretold by the Law and the Prophets.

Daniel 9:25
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

7+62 ‘Weeks of Years’ equals 483 years from the giving of the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem until Jesus, their Messiah would present Himself before them as their prophesied King. Which He did on the very day foretold but they rejected Him.

Granted, Daniel 9:25 takes ‘a bit’ of unpacking but my point is this, that The Jews Knew the very day Messiah should present Himself before them as King, yet they rejected and crucified Him BY, AND BECAUSE OF THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD...

John 11:47-50
47 - Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man [Jesus] doeth many miracles.
48 - If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49 - And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50 - Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

This is why God never said “not any” but rather “not many” with high IQ’s shall enter the Kingdom of God, for His mercy saw passed their pride.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29
26 - For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 - But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 - And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 - That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Indeed, the wisdom of this world not only crucified our Lord but sends those encompassed by its form of pride to Hell in droves, for to them the message of the Cross not only offends such pride but is foolishness to them.

1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

We who have been born-again through a humility which acknowledged our depraved and fallen state, are made The Sons of God...

John 1:12-13
12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 - Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

By which we receive the wisdom of God sent down from Heaven, even the Holy Ghost, God in us, who teaches us the wisdom of God.

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Jordan Peterson is a very wise man regarding the Wisdom of this World, but my prayer is that one day he will know the wisdom of God through the acceptance of the message of the Cross.
But this so-called ‘wisdom’ that links IQ to a worldly worthiness is so dangerous as to be Satanic. For unable to comprehend the wisdom of God they stray again towards the gibbering madness of a eugenics ideology that would if left unchecked, herd multitudes to future extermination camps that thereafter unhindered, the wisdom of this world might be free to turn on the next group deemed inferior to those at the top.

Far wiser then, the humble uneducated African living in a mud hut who hearing the message of the Cross accepts it unto eternal life than the highly educated white university professor, who choosing to be offended at the message of the Cross shall die in his sins before being raised unto judgement and a certain sentencing to hell.

The wisdom of God was once hidden, even in a mystery but now has been revealed through the Church to both angels and men if we will but listen.

Ephesians 3:8-10
8 - Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
10 - To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Even a righteousness that comes through faith in His name, in the name of God’s only begotten Son who through His work of redemption planned from the foundation of the world... took all of our sins away.

Romans 10:4-13
4 - For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 - For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. [Since nobody can keep, all who make the attempt are condemned by it.]
6 - But the righteousness which is of faith [in Jesus’ work of redemption] speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 - Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 - But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 - For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you are considered ‘slow’ by those who excel in this this world celebrate, for unto you has the door of salvation been opened wide which is only ajar to them. Humble yourself my friend and walk right on in, for in so doing shall the angels of God record that your wisdom not only excels over the wisdom of the world, but that it trumps all the ‘children of pride.’

Matthew 18:1-4
1 - At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 - And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 - And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 - Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
