Mortality, Death and Eternal life.

1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are a celestial soul temporally bound to a terrestrial body by God’s Life-giving Spirit, but when that Life-giving Spirit returns to He who gave it the whole thing unravels and that is called “mortality”...

Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then shall the dust [body] return to the earth as it was: and the [life-giving] spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

When speaking of the destination of the Soul after death Job [pronounced ‘Jobe’] asks the question...

Job 14:10
But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost [life-giving spirit] and where is he? [His Soul]

The same scriptures tell us that the soul that dies [Separation from the Body] in its sins, having rejected in life Christ’s free payment for sin preached both before and after The Cross, that soul will descend directly to Hades [not Hell] where held by ‘The Law of Sin and Death’ [Rom 8:2] until the ‘Second Resurrection’ thereafter to receive judgement and sentencing. [Heb 9:27]

But for those few who acknowledge their sin in life, confess it [not the Catholic confession] and turning from it accept Jesus’ payment for sin, their souls thereafter being innocent before God shall ascend to Him, there to await Christ’s soon return to Earth who He shall bring with Him...

Jude 14
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Then to partake in The First Resurrection.

Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death [Hell] hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. [The Millennium]

These shall receive new immortal and incorruptible bodies and shall be like the Angels that can not die, their body, soul and God’s life-giving Spirit having been fused into one...

Luke 20:36
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the [First] resurrection.

As for the eternal life the ‘god of this world’ has to offer, that will be horrible...

Revelation 9:6
And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Whom having had their DNA altered, will have made themselves hybrids and by so doing have disqualified themselves from the salvation that is found only in Christ Jesus, who became a man [not a hybrid] to pay for the sins of men.

Hebrews 10:5
Wherefore when he came into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you wouldest not, but a body [of a Human] hast thou prepared me:

If you want an eternal life that is full of joy, meaning and purpose...

1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

You having acknowledged your sins to God then need accept Christ’s death offered in your stead, The Fathers only propitiation for sin. An offering foretold throughout the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New by none other than Jesus, just as it is written...

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 - For I [Paul] delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the [Old Testament] scriptures;
4 - And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the [Old Testament] scriptures:

Everything Christ did was foretold before hand in the Old Testament Scriptures, who after His resurrection and shortly before His ascension to His Father said to two of His despondent disciples, who having not recognised Him in their misery were on their way home after seeing His crucifixion three days earlier...

Luke 24:25-27
25 - Then he [Jesus] said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: [Of Me]
26 - Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 - And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the [Old Testament] scriptures the things concerning himself.
