Luke 21:36 or Proverbs 22:3
I had a feeling of Déjà vu while writing this as a response to a video I just watched, and as expected it transpires that I had written something very similar about a year ago in a response to another video by the same Youtuber - Surviving the Nuke. Still reviewing my old blog and seeing that the two differ in certain areas, I thought to post it here anyway.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
Personally I don’t hold out much hope for both the elite and those ‘preppers’ whom having no faith in Christ [Some do trust in Him], then attempt to save their lives by crawling into well stocked bunkers.
And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
Because once they emerge...
They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of thee.
...the first thing they shall face is the ‘Judgement Seat of the Sheep and the Goats’, a judgement based almost entirely on how they treated God’s chosen during the persecutions of both the ‘Whore’ or better ‘One World Religion’, and then Antichrist’s One World System that shall follow.
31 - When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 - And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
If they risked all to help us as did some of the Germans during the Second World War, they shall be allowed to enter into the Kingdom in their mortal and corrupt flesh, their nation ruled by the World Government in Jerusalem. But if they only thought to save themselves, and spurned the cries of God’s people for help some even giving them-up to the authorities, these shall be cast straight into an everlasting Hell having been judged.
41 - Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 - For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 - I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 - Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 - Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 - And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
However, although a tiny few shall not only survive the second coming of Christ but scrape through ‘The Judgement Seat of The Sheep and the Goats’ on the basis of assisting God’s own during their hour of trial, they would have done far better if they had accepted Christ before He came. For then they would have no longer have been confined to this corrupt mortal flesh, but would have received their new immortal and incorruptible bodies with the souls Jesus will bring back with Him who had died trusting in Him and his promised resurrection of the righteous to eternal life. [1 Thess 4:15]
1 Corinthians 15:51-55
51 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep [die], but we shall all be changed,
52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 - So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 - O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
Thereafter to rule and reign with Christ on this Earth...
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
...for its duration, even a thousand years while Satan is confined in the Abyss...
4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived *and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 - But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 - Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Thereafter Stan and the wicked are cast into Hell, and the eternal order begins.
So for those elite and peppers out there, you may well survive some of the famines that are coming, plagues too... but only righteousness will save from the wrath that is to come when God sends His Son to Judge the Earth in righteousness.
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
The righteousness that I seek comes only from Him who not only fulfilled all righteousness in that He never sinned, proven when God raised Him from the dead, but through His mercy when He Himself paid the righteous penalties that I deserved for all of my unrighteous acts, when He entered Hades in my place. But as I have already touched upon... ‘The Law of Sin and Death’ [Romans 8:2] had no legal authority to detain Jesus in Hades but the guilty only, thus God raised Him from the dead and will us also who have been made righteous through faith in Him, having the faith of Abraham...
And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
But friend, do you believe Christ when He said for your hearing...
25 - Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 - And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? [it is for your soul]
...Job certainly did, who believing the promises long before Jesus ever appeared as the suffering servant as a payment for sin. We know this is true because Job tells us when he said...
25 - For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand in the last days upon the earth:
26 - And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 - Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
So although Job knew he would die and his body rot in the earth, he also believed that he would be resurrected in a new body in which he would see with his own eyes his saviour standing upon this earth and not the new of Revelation 21. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob also believed this , and we know this also because when rebuking the unbelieving Jesus told us that it is through faith in God’s Word that that believing Abraham, Isaac and Jacob also shall be resurrected into the Kingdom.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
And how do we attain that life giving faith that saves, even the faith in God’s promises that having attributed Christ’s righteousness to us sinners will raise us from the dead? That faith comes from hearing, reading and studying the Word of God.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
And once you believe having declared your faith, God gives you a helper to assist you against the blinding power of an enemy [2 Cor 4:4], even the Holy Ghost who will both remind your of what you have heard and teach you step by step what it means.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
