The Irish choose whom they will serve.

Joshua 24:15
“If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

So the emerald Isle has finally had to redefine its definition of marriage to fall inline with its relatively new definition of love, let me explain.

The traditional marriage they have just rejected, was based on the love of God who said...

John 14:15
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments”.

In other words, it was built upon a definition of marriage to which those who loved Him, adhered.

In the following, God not only draws a clear moral line regarding the use of the body in sexual unions, but gives commands to the JEWS under the OLD COVENANT what punishment should be meted-out upon those who would dare cross it.

Leviticus 20:13
If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.

However, although those of us under the NEW COVENANT are not commanded to enforce God’s moral standard upon others as was once enforced over Israel, we are commanded to warn of the judgment to come, because that same standard still applies, though many teach contrary to this truth…

Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is to be held in honour among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

For the penalty for breaking God’s moral standards shall certainly be meted-out, though not during this fleeting life but after it, an arrangement  that some choose to regard as an acceptance of lawless acts, rather than God’s long-suffering towards the perpetrators of those acts [Ecc 8:11 - 2 Peter 3:9] ...

Hebrews 9:27
And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,

• The Judgement Seat of Christ.

All who accept Christ shall stand at ‘The Judgement Seat of Christ’ shortly before the coming of the Millennium Kingdom, not to determine their salvation, that was settled at the Cross, but to receive rewards or suffer loss of rewards based on their works since they came to a knowledge of the truth.

Luke 19:16-17
16 - Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy talent hath gained ten pounds.
17 - And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

Some having sown their God-given gifts wisely into the Kingdom during this fleeting life, [both spiritual and material] shall receive a reward whilst others, having brought no increase shall suffer the loss of their basic reward, though they themselves shall be saved.

• The Great White Throne Judgement.

Although a tiny few who died during the Millennium shall be found in ‘The Lamb’s Book of Life’, by far the vast majority of those raised from Hades to stand at ‘The Great White Throne Judgment’, whom having rejected Christ sacrifice for sin... shall have their deeds examined [The Books where opened] , thereafter to be sent to an allotted place in Hell meet for their outrages.

Revelation 20:12
I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Jesus made it quite clear during His encounter with the woman caught in the very act of adultery, that although God no longer commands capital punishment for moral lawlessness, every act of lawlessness shall be brought to account. His writing ‘with His finger’ in the sand was to inform the Pharisees that, not only was He fully aware of the Law that God had written ‘with His finger’ upon the two tablets, but that He Himself was the embodiment of that Word, both written and Incarnate. They were in the presence of the Word that never changes.

Judgment for her was to be deferred on that day, but not annulled. Her judgment would still come after death, either at the ‘Judgement Seat of Christ’ [2 Corinthians 5:10] if she believed in Him, or at the ‘Great White Throne Judgement’ [Rev 20:11-15] and that before the Father whose Son’s sacrifice they not only mocked, but rejected.

John 8:10-11
10 - “Woman, where are they [her Jewish accusers] ? Did no one condemn you?”
11 - She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go and sin no more.

Now that Ireland’s institution of marriage has been redefined to complement their preferred new definition of love, the proper use of the body is no longer defined and approved by God. Rather, every child will be taught that, with regard to sexual activity, each may do whatsoever he or she pleases. Now that gender will present no barrier, the door is open for sodomy, incest, bestiality and unspeakable crimes against children.

No wonder God destroyed the old world and Sodom that followed, presented to us as an example of what shall befall this generation unless it repents [Jude 1:7].

Ephesians 5:6
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

A generation that shall cry-out in horror when Christ appears, for indeed there are things to be feared that are far… far worse than death.

Revelation 6:16
“Mountains Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;”

Sometimes people gnash their teeth and mock me, shortly after lawless and defiling acts have been legalised, who proudly declare that they have won and that I, a dinosaur of the past have lost... as though the approval of multitudes of corrupt and fallen men trumps God's righteousness in some way.
I guess they believe that I have been taken back and undone at the news of each rise of perversity. This makes me smile. For, reading the Scriptures every day, I have become fully convinced of their reliability. Consequently, far from being surprised by these events, these are the very things I have been told to expect. The rise of perversity confirms the words of the prophets.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
1 - But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 - For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 - unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 - treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 - holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

However, I know that when I lay down my head to die, or the Lord snatches me away before His wrath come, that smile of which I spoke shall fade, when I recall the terror of the Lord and the judgement that shall befall those that mock God, and those that serve Him. [Rev 21:4]

Ephesians 5:11
Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, rather expose them;

Therefore I press on to shine as a light that no darkness can overcome, for it is the light of Christ [John 1:5]. That by it some might see, understand and through the acknowledgement of sin repent to receive forgiveness with eternal life following at the presence of the Lord.

Acts 3:19-21
19 - Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
20 - and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,
21 - whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.

Thus unlike the populace of the UK who can at least blame Cameron, the people of Southern Ireland have overwhelmingly chosen perversity over right, while their northern neighbours fight on.
And thus having sown bad seed into those green hills... shall reap a reward at the time of harvest. When that season comes only God knows, who alone is in control of the seasons of life.
