All ‘Faith’ is not of God.

Having just read the following article on the Guardian website by Benjamin Jones:

Is it any wonder religion is on the wane?

I felt compelled to leave the comment below, and that being the case thought to publish it here in case it was refused by their moderators.

I think most of us would agree that there is a growing trend to associate the atrocities of historical Catholicism and today’s Islam... with the true followers of Christ, which is not only illogical but scripturally impossible. For it is impossible to burn, behead and rape anyone in an effort to forward the Kingdom of He who said...

Luke 6:27
But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, and do good to those who hate you,”

Guardian Free Speech excludes Scripture.

Five days later and the Guardian’s moderators have not passed my comment, so much for their stance on free speech. If you see something in the post that you believe is untrue or worthy of censorship, please feel free to inform me.

John 18:36
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would fight ... but My kingdom is not of this realm”.

Therefore followers of Jesus do not fight as did Mohammed, for a kingdom that is about to pass away but rather warn the World of its soon demise when the Kingdom of God appears from Heaven.

Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

As Islam, Catholicism is a religious political entity that longs to dominate the whole World, both having used force to forward that very agenda. But Jesus never spoke of taking-up the sword to forward His Kingdom, but rather said to Peter who thought to do so...

John 18:11
“Put your sword back into its sheath; the cup [The Cross] which the Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?”

Rather unlike Mohammed and the Popes, Jesus lay down His life for those who would inherit His coming Kingdom, and thought not to fight to remain in that which it shall soon replace

Luke 9:24
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.

A follower of Mohammed acting on his faith, and following the example left him.

I find the fact that the masses have been deceived into grouping followers of Jesus with the acts and atrocities attributed to Catholicism of old and Islam today disturbing to say the least, just because of their interpretation of the word ‘faith’. It is not faith ‘per sa’ which is the issue here but rather ‘who you have faith in’.
‘Faith’ in Hitler resulted in atrocities incomprehensible, but ‘faith’ in Jesus [as defined by Scripture] had both the common and learned man burned at the Catholic stake or today... beheaded by the Muslims blade rather than denounce their ‘faith’ in whose Kingdom shall come.

Matthew 24:30
And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

However when bitter seed is sown into bad soil only weeds, stinging-nettles and thorns ensue, thus when Satan’s media machine weaves the lie that ‘all faiths are the same’ into hearts blackened by the same... abuses shall certainly follow.

Revelation 6:9-10
9 - When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;
10 - and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

Does that mean that we should take-up the sword and behead Muslims who attack us or strap bombs to ourselves and blow-up the innocent children of those who hate us? Certainly not but rather looking to Heaven trust in Him who said.

Deuteronomy 32:35
“Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, in due time their foot will slip; for the day of their calamity is near, and the impending things are hastening upon them.”

For God has said that He has set a day when He will judge the World in righteousness.

Acts 17:30-31
30 - Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent,
31 - because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”
