PM praises gay marriage in major family speech.
- Article by the Christian Institute.
The Prime Minister also said the Foreign Office was pushing for pro-gay changes in other countries, and that Britain should “encourage the rest of our world to take our lead”.
7 - Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
8 - because the one who sows for his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows for the spirit will reap eternal life from the spirit.
Statements such as the one above, make me tremble for the future of this nation, which having corrupted the institution of marriage now waves this dirty rag [Isaiah 64:6] as an example for others to follow. No wonder God is allowing the likes of ISIS to rise-up against the whores of Babylon.
17 - I am stirring up against them the Medes, who think nothing of silver and take no delight in gold.
18 - With their bows they shall shatter the young men, and the fruit of the womb they shall not spare, nor shall their eye take pity on children.
19 - And Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory and pride of the Chaldeans, shall become like Sodom and Gomorrah, overthrown by God.
I’m guessing that as Sodom and Gomorrah, we too may flourish for a little while longer before God judges us suddenly, a judgement from which we shall never recover. If this takes place on ‘The Day of the Lord’ or before I can not tell, only that it will certainly come unless we repent.
49 - Now look at the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters were proud, sated with food, complacent in prosperity. They did not give any help to the poor and needy.
50 - Instead, they became arrogant and committed abominations before me; then, as you have seen, I removed them.
Better then that we were ‘rebuked today’ that in our distress we might by acknowledging our sin, repent and turn from a madness that beckons ruin. For trials certainly tend towards reflection whilst mirth on the other hand, binds the fool to their folly.
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
I am one that can state through personal experience, that I learned absolutely nothing in the house of mirth... staring nightly at the bottom of a pint glass, but very much indeed in the house of mourning. But better I say that a fool whom God has called, examines himself in his prosperity than feel the rod of correction in the house of mourning.
2 - It is better to go to the house of mourning than to the house of feasting, for that is the end of every mortal, and the living should take it to heart.
3 - Sorrow is better than laughter; when the face is sad, the heart grows wise.
4 - The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of merriment.
5 - It is better to listen to the rebuke of the wise than to listen to the song of fools;
6 - For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the fool’s laughter. This also is vanity.
Are you prospering? then thank God, yet examine yourself before He who sets the seasons in life sets yours for correction, rather than peace and prosperity. For indeed season are set before they come, which having been established are rarely changed though those taught therein plead with tears.
There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.
