Have you enough oil in your lamp?

What a ‘sign of the times’ that in the same week that a friend sends me a report regarding a proposal to erect a statue of Satan in America’s capital, that I also receive a report stating that the ‘Church of England’, that ever compromising apostate institution... decides to take out the words ‘Devil’ and ‘Sin’ from their Baptismal ceremony. [Not that infant baptism means anything]

Bishop slams CofE [Church of England] ‘dumbed down’ baptism service.

As I have said on so many occasions...
“Lawlessness must increase so that the Lawless one can be revealed”.
This truth based on:

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8
7 - For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
8 - And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendour of his coming.

Satan certainly will have his hour, of that scripture leaves us in no doubt. An hour when a soon to be formed ‘Ten Region - New World Order’ shall bow and give their power and great authority to a single man, even antichrist the coming glorious One World Leader [Rev 18:12-13]. And may God help all of those who through the stubbornness of their hearts reject Christ today, only to realise their error in the tribulation of those days.

Revelation 7:14
He said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

For in those days, and those that follow [The Wrath of God], a time of trouble shall come upon the World so terrible, that if Christ didn’t return before the set time no flesh should be saved.

Matthew 24:21-22
21 - For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be equaled again.
22 - And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

And don’t say within yourself that “you are one of the elect”, for they are a refined few, sifted and saved out of a chosen nation [Israel]. Nor mock as do the fools saying...

2 Peter 3:4
Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

But rather accept Jesus while it is still called ‘day’ for the night is coming when nobody can work [preach] and as the Apostles before us, all believers shall be found upon bended knees, trembling behind closed doors awaiting their promised ‘catching away’ [The Rapture] that they might with all the saints be found worthy to escape the wrath to come.

Luke 21:36
Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.

The Apostles endured fifty days without Christ after His crucifixion, that is until the promise of the Spirit came. A trial of darkness lighted only by an ‘oil of faith’ gathered in the days Jesus walked the Earth. Likewise do we labour in His presence, until He the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way. Then we too must endure for a season, who shall stand if we have oil enough in our lamps, now kept in earthen vessels.

Matthew 25:8-9 [2 Cor 8:15]
8 - The foolish ones [Christians] said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 - “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

Why even Pharaoh feared when God spoke to through the similitudes of a dream, and receiving interpretation set a supposed base man [Joseph - Gen 43:32] over the Egyptians that he should force them to adhere to the unpopular policy of gathering in a time of plenty, that they might survive the famine to come. [Gen 48:25]

And the ant also knows when to gather and when to rest, that she might survive the blast of winter, yet God’s People refuse to gather even as the last leaves of Autumn fall. Whom knowing that oil is only gathered when the olive is crushed, prefer to recline upon beds of pleasure that they might not be inconvenience by the Cross. Whom being empty vessels shall stumble over what they know not when the long night comes, for they refused to gather in harvest whose lamps shall fail when darkness falls.

Luke 18:8b
But when Jesus returns will He find faith on the Earth?
