As you might expect, when posting comments on the BBC’s website, I take great care not to offend unnecessarily. However, twice now I have had my comments removed simply because they touch upon [Well I guess this is the reason] the deviant acts associated with the LGBT lifestyle. How can anyone expression an opinion regarding such subjects, if they are not allowed to mention them?
Limited by the number of characters allowed... I posted the following comment on a report headed:
Nick Clegg urges MPs not to 'derail' gay marriage plan
Millions have bound themselves to one another before God, in unions that are defined to exclude deviant sexual acts.
Marriage should be honoured by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
Who are now expected to remain silent, while THEIR marriage is redefined to include such acts.
Redefine Civil Partnerships if they do not suffice.
I promptly received the ‘Your BBC Posting has been removed’ which contained the following...
Dear BBC Visitor,
Thank you for contributing to the BBC web site. Unfortunately we’ve had to remove the content below because it contravened one of our House Rules.
Your comment was considered to have broken the following House Rule:
“We reserve the right to fail comments which...
Are considered likely to disrupt, provoke, attack or offend others
Are racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable
Contain swear words or other language likely to offend”
It appears that the way the BBC interprets these rules, means that you can not mention [however sensitively] the deviant acts associated with the LGBT community. It appears then, that as adults we are supposed to ‘pretend’ that when speaking of marriage, Jesus never said...
7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife [Srongs-1135 Greek - A Women]
8 and the two will become one flesh.’
So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
Or Paul to the church at Corinth...
1 Corinthians 6:9
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men.
As many, I have to wonder just how long it will be until the once ‘unthinkable’ happens. When quoting Scripture regarding such matters will be made unlawful... and sites such as mine are blocked from search engines, or refused by hosting companies. Though as I have said before... Christians will be preaching Christ and His Words right up until the end, though it shall cost most their lives.
